White truffle butter, how to make it at home

Let's see how to prepare an excellent white truffle butter that will serve to enrich any of your dishes but will also be a great remedy for preserving truffles, avoiding wasting such a rare and good product.

It takes very little time and only a few ingredients to prepare this recipe.

Obviously, the more quality products are used, the better the end result will be.

The ingredients we will need are excellent mountain butter, such as alpine butter, or excellent French salted butter, our beloved White Truffle, and salt to taste. (if you are not using salted butter)

The ideal proportion is:

200 g butter = 50 g white truffle

Now we move on to preparation:

First, let's soften the butter, either over very low heat or in the microwave. Alternatively, you can let it soften at room temperature and with the help of a fork form a creamy froth.

Grattugia il tartufo sopra il burro, mescola bene fino ad amalgamare bene il tutto, aggiungi sale q.b.

Pour the contents into a bowl or ice molds (so you already have the portioned product) and chill in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours, until the butter has hardened completely.

At this point you can store it in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks, or alternatively in the freezer taking care to consume it within 3 months.
